CORONAVIRUS AND EAT OUT UPDATE – OCTOBER 2020
From Thursday the Plough Inn will fall under the rule of Tier 3 of the governments Covid virus response, this will mean a further strengthening of the rules as follows.
No 1. Customers will only be able to purchase Alcoholic drinks in line with ordering a substantial meal from our Menu selection.
No 2. Customers will still have to follow the present rules from Tier 2 as follows.
All service must be by table service.
Mask/Face Coverings must be worn on entry to the bar.
Rule of 6 applies – inside and outside
Test and Trace – we now have the app operating throughout the bar, plus a paper back up for those not using the app
Socialising – only with people from your own household or bubble.
It is a costly experience for the Plough, and with that in mind we intend in the early stages of this initial 28 day change to close during the afternoon period of 3pm to 5pm Mon to Thurs inclusive and on Tuesday evenings.
We will monitor matters as the weeks pass and react and inform this webpage with all alterations as they are planned.
During August we took on board the ‘Eat Out’ offer via the government with incredible popularity, with this in mind we are continuing a Plough version from Monday 7th September right through to the end of October (Mon to Weds), – offering 25% off all dishes on our Menu plus a discounted Wine and Soft Drinks offer for more detail please visit the ‘Whats on’ section as headed above.
Whilst we may be winning the battle to a degree with the Covid situation we still remain vigilant in our procedures, which I believe allows the Plough to remain a happy and safe venue to visit for everyone.
Be good, but more important than that stay Safe!!
Many Thanks David and Lee
